2011 Nissan 370Z Reviews

2011 Nissan 370Z Reviews

Nissan did not deliver on its plans to unveil a hybrid 370Z in 2011, but the high performance sports car does deliver unparalleled features in the 40-year Z-series tradition.
Nissan is offering three models of the 370Z convertible roadster: the standard entry level model, the Touring car, and the 370Z Touring with Sport Package option. The 370Z Coupe series features three model options plus the NISMO 370Z. Falling far short of the fuel efficiency figures for Nissan’s drawing board hybrid model, the 2011 Nissan 370Z reports 18 mpg in traffic and 25 mpg on the highway, manual or automatic alike. These high-performance vehicles use high-test fuel as well.

The 2011 Nissan 370Z has the loud engine and quick, responsive handling that sports car enthusiasts love. With smooth, powerful acceleration and stable steering control, this Nissan is a snappy commuter vehicle as well as a high-performance ride. Braking is smooth and controlled.
The spoiler on the NISMO model sits high enough to obscure rear visibility, as well. Add-ons such as the Nissan Hard Drive Navigation System with touch-screen convenience, XM NavTraffic, and XM NavWeather add tech points to the 370Z control panel. Before you visit any local Nissan dealers, used car sales lots with a "2011 Nissan 370Z" or check out any new Nissan deals, make sure you read our automobile reviews and automobile ratings about the 2011 Nissan 370Z you are considering. It could mean the difference between purchasing a great Nissan 370Z or throwing your money away on a problematic Nissan 370Z.

All car ratings and car reviews are submitted by our visitors and the Modified Life community.
Did you used to have an Nissan 370Z you loved or an "Nissan 370Z" you hated? Help others by posting a review about any Nissan 370Z you own or any Nissan vehicle you used to own on Modified Life. The crew over at Inside Line got its hands on some rather curious spy photos of the new 2011 Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition.

Inside, IL claim's you'll find the "standard Z Touring seats" covered in red leather.

According to Inside Line the only exterior badging that distinguishes the 40th Anniversary car from lesser Zs is a small plaque on the car's rear bumper, just below 370Z. Could it be that Inside Line has additional "spy photos" of the 40th Anniversary Z's rear and isn't posting them?

Luxury Car

When you're buying a Lotus, you don't want to be driving it in the city. Sitting in traffic jams, praying for temporary lights to stay green ("please don't change!"), and avoiding potholes and speed bumps is hardly fun. No, a Lotus is meant for the open road - the wide, open, twisty roads of the British countryside where the only hold up is when you pull over to admire the view.

I don't pretend to know much about cars, but I know what I like and I like Lotus cars. They're sexy, fast, fun to drive and you're guaranteed to turn heads when you're driving one, and isn't that what driving is all about? The model I like in particular is the Lotus Exige S. Ok, so it's not the easiest of cars to get into, but once you mastered the art of that it's actually a very comfortable ride. There's not buckets of space inside the cabin, but this isn't a car you'd take on a camping trip - this car was made for driving. The Lotus Exige S is an absolute joy to drive along twisty roads; it has excellent cornering abilities and exceptional grip. With the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, the Lotus Exige S isn't for the faint-hearted. However, it isn't as 'cash guzzling' as you might think, you can get around 200 miles out of one tank of petrol, which isn't too bad, and you can rest assured that the rev-hungry Toyota engine is reliable.

One of my favourite places to drive is in the south-west of England, particularly Devon and Dorset where the roads are clear of traffic and the views are simply stunning. Maybe one day I'll drive my new Lotus Exige S in Dorset, but for now I'll have to stick with my trusty Ford Fiesta.

Six brand new models made our Top Picks this year: the Chevrolet Silverado and Traverse, Mazda5, Nissan Altima, Subaru Forester, and Volkswagen GTI. This marks the first time in six years that a few down home models earned spots or that an European auto made the list.

Several of final year's picks, the Toyota Highlander and RAV4 SUVs, were passed over this year. At the time of circulation, bargains of certain adaptations had been halted. We have suspended our proposal until a possibly unsafe part that might create unintended increasing speed is fixed.

Body Kits to Style Car

Body kits help you alter your vehicle in some shape. You can do this to nearly any exterior auto part.
Just analyze for one that may meet any needs you have got for the re-design. Jim Hall invented the body kit in 1961 as a technique to improve his auto’s aerodynamic capability. Aerodynamics is how wind travels your auto’s fringe with minimal effort. When done correctly your auto faces less air resistance and your engine is also cooled down concurrently. What Hall’s body kit did was force the vehicle downward so the air resistance will be reduced. Your vehicle’s speed is improved with the reduced air besiege

Italian brands The Lavazza GT-R unveiled, Simbol Design has some pictures and specifications for the new super sports car. Simbol Design has created this impressive new V12 supercar producing 620 hp while weighing a mere 2380 lbs. This gives the car an exceptional power to weight ratio of 3.8 lb.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Pur Sang Edition

bugatti-veyron-164-pur-sang-edition-photo1
The Bugatti Veyron’s high-tech components being meticulously assembled into an automotive work of art. Watching the car coming together, coupled with an admiration for the technical beauty of its structure, gave the designers the idea of finishing the car in its pure material configuration – meaning no color coating. The result is the EB 16.4. Veyron “Pur Sang”, a two-tone study of pure materialness showing the car’s true essentials: carbon and aluminum.
The carbon monocoque holds the engine plus the passenger cell, while the polished aluminum panelling is enhanced by reflections in the sculpted bodywork. Interestingly, the rawness of the materials even more strongly highlights the dual character of this car: performance power coupled with cruising comfort, structure and body, dark and light.

Luxury Sports Cars: Stories: Pagani Zonda S repair bill

One of Britain's largest insurance companies is paying through its teeth as an insurance claim for one luxury sports car has come in at a record-breaking (for the company at least) £300,000. The car in question is the Pagani Zonda S which is a £500,000 two seater luxury sports car.
The Pagani Zonda S was badly damaged by a clearly inexperienced driver who lost control of it on a test run on a country lane near Glasgow. The collision ended leaving the face of the Pagani Zonda S in a poll and a fence.
The car insurance company question is Aviva and they have decided that the car is not beyond repair so have decided to have it shipped back to Modena, Italy where only 10 Pagani Zonda S’ are made in a year. Materials such as titanium and aluminium are used in this luxury sports car and Aviva said in a statement: "It's the biggest repairs payout we've seen."

Nissan Navara Reviews

Nissan Navara Reviews

Nissan’s big Navara pickup has been one of those niche products with staying power.

People liked the Spanish-built Nissan Navara chunky looks and separate chassis, with a switchable two/four-wheel-drive system which gave it genuine skills off tarmac, and Nissan sold far more “Navara pick ups” than they did Pathfinder 4×4s, which were essentially the same vehicles, but with big, station wagon bodies and independent coil spring rear suspensions, rather than the pick up’s rear axle’s hefty leaf springs.

The Nissan Navara claimed combined 33.2mpg is a notable improvement on the old model’s 28.8mpg.

With stiff rear springs (intended not to sag if the load bay, with its clever range of fixing points, is filled with heavy gear), the "Nissan Navara" ride proved un-jittery when semi-loaded. For those who like even more power, Nissan is also offering a 3.0 litre V6 diesel in the Nissan Navara for the first time.

No nonsense 2x4 and 4x4 strength with modern comfortable interiors are why the latest Nissan Navara vehicle is such a success. Built for the toughest conditions, the Nissan Navara gets the work done with minimal fuss.

Standout features for this year are things like: a 3-tonne towing capacity, a lusty class leading turbo-diesel engine, advanced safety features, a balanced ergonomic dash, smooth detailing, chrome trim, alloys, power outlets and keyless remote control entry.

You’ve got it covered with the Nissan Navara. At first glance, you see a crew cab pickup truck with loads of features. The "Nissan Navara" is a tough muscular truck with loads of style.

The Nissan Navara range features plenty of power and torque. The Nissan Navara range is a strong ute that is such a loyal and robust working companion. Nissan's latest generation 4.0 litre V6 petrol engine is available on all Dual Cab models, and it's a true beauty. The 2.5 litre turbo diesel offers Nissan's latest generation common-rail technology. The diesel graces the Dual Cab and King Cab models. Naturally, being diesel, this engine returns impressive fuel economy and reliability. Switching from 2 to 4 wheel drive has never been easier in the Nissan Navara. The Nissan Navara's interior has dual zone climate control, cruise control, and comfortable and well designed seats with the option of leather.

The front seats are powered and heated, while the rear has a 60/40 split bench seat, thick rich carpeting, and an in-dash CD auto-changer with steering wheel controls, tilt steering, air conditioning, electric sunroof and fold flat passenger seat.
Your safety isn't compromised in the Nissan Navara either, with front and rear crumple zones. You will quickly realize that the Nissan Navara isn't any ordinary mundane truck.

Nissan Navara Single Cab ST-R 4x4 Turbo Diesel 3.0
Nissan Navara is a double cab and this feature makes it advantageous over others. It is true that, all big cars do not offer better performance especially with heavy load vehicles.
Here are a few details what Navara is capable of.

Front end is revised with a new designed grille and bumper.
Nissan Navara is available in different trim options. Navara does not lack the common features like stability control, cruise control, surround sound system, rear view camera etc. Safety features include the stability control and fully loaded air bags including the side screen air bags.

The all new V6 diesel engine is built primarily to offer economy and class performance with reduction in CO2 emission. Power developed is 170 KW with 550 Nm torque. Maximum torque is available at a low 1700 rpm and is available all the way up to 2500 rpm. One adopted technique includes the Overcooling exhaust gas which reduces Nitrogen oxides emission. 2010 Nissan Navara is definitely superior to the previous model and impresses by offering comfort and luxury to passengers. "2010 Nissan Navara" will really be a good option if you adjust with the negative features it comes along.

The Rise of the Ferrari

The Rise of the Ferrari
When asked to name a supercar who wouldn't have Ferrari on the tip of their tongue. What young boy didn't have pictures of shiny red Ferraris on their bedroom wall? But where did the famous brand of Ferrari come from and who is the man behind the legend?
Enzo Ferrari was born in Modena, Italy, on 18th February 1898. His family owned a foundry and Enzo shared a room above the workshop with his brother Alfredo, waking to the sound of hammering when work started in the mornings.
The young Enzo saw his first car race in 1908 with his father. The whole environment of the shouting crowds and the brave drivers aroused his interest.
Enzo was forced to leave school after the death of his father, going on to work in the Modeno Fire Brigade's workshop as a turning instructor. After a spell in the army (which he joined in 1917), Enzo was released from duty because of ill health. Instead of returning to schooling, Enzo found work as a test driver in Turin in 1918, later moving to Milan to work as a racing driver for automaker Construzioni Meccaniche Nazionale. The first proper race that Enzo entered was the Parma-Berceto in 1919. After that there was no looking back.
Enzo founded Scuderia Ferrari in 1929. They sponsored and trained Alfa Romeo staff. He was head of racing at Alfa Romeo until he heard that they planned to take over Scuderia Ferrari - prompting him to leave. After that he was prohibited from competing for a few years so the factory produced machine tools and aircraft accessories, although they did manage to make the Tipo 815 racing car during that time.
The emblem of Ferrari (the prancing horse) was adopted by Ferrari in 1923. At the Savio track in Ravenna after a race win, Enzo met the mother of Baracca, an Italian air force ace and national hero who was shot down at a young age. Baracca had a black horse as an emblem on his planes because his squad was enrolled in a cavalry regiment. The countess asked him to use the emblem for good luck. Enzo kept the black horse as it was on the plane but added a yellow background - a symbolic colour of Modena.
Ferrari moved to Maranello in 1943. The factory had to be rebuilt in 1946 after bomb damage from World War Two. The first Ferrari road car was built in 1947 - the 125 Sport. It was a high performance car with a V12 engine. They entered Formula One racing in 1950.
The last car commissioned by Enzo was the famous F40 which was revealed on the 40th birthday of the company.
Enzo Ferrari died on 14th August 1988 in Modena.
Ferrari today can claim 15 F1 drivers' titles, 16 F1 constructors titles, 203 F1 pole postitions and 209 F1 wins to name but a few. They attract top drivers and are legendary in the field of Formula One. Michael Schumacher driving for Ferrari dominated F1 from 2000-2004 and cemented the place of Ferrari as a great racing brand.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet
Mercedes-Benz long and awaited for E-Class Cabriolet will don a cap and scarf so that it can provide all year-round comfort for all passengers. Their aerodynamic experts have devised an 'Aircap' to keep all occupants warm and free of buffeting. It will also be available with an Airscarf system from the SLK model.
It blasts hot air at the base of the neck from the headrests making this car the future the beginning of an open-top season all year round. The Aircap is something Mercedes has been working on for 20 years, consisting of a spoiler and mesh netting in the top of the windscreen.
At the touch of a button this mesh raises and the rear headrests which also are joined to another mesh net automatically goes up and down when the spoiler rises. The cabriolet has been tested in their wind tunnel racing 90mph gales, with the side windows up experience very little buffeting in the main compartment. It took 2000-3000 hours of wind tunnel experiments and intricate design in the build of the mesh nets to create the perfect wine-free cabin.
With an aim to create a warm air bath in the cabin and keep heat from escaping and the climate system in the car for longer, the benefit from this has resulted in better fuel economy and reduced in-car noise levels because of less aerodynamic drag ad flutter inside the cabin.
The E-class cabriolet will come with a 7-layered electric folding roof and when it crosses the British boarder in March 2010 the cabriolet will be available in a choice of 7 engines and the Aircap will be available on every single model, and as an added bonus it hopes to introduce its prices 5% below those of its predecessor.
When it comes to assessing the benefits of the caps and scarf, Mercedes may have blown every other cabriolet and coupe of the water including the BMW 3 Series. Swindon female motorists are going to find this car hard to ignore what with soothing hot air blowing at the base of their necks.

Driving the Used Porsche Cayenne

Driving the Used Porsche Cayenne
I've driven a used Porsche Cayenne S for a few years, during which I've enjoyed trouble-free, exciting motoring. My motivation for buying the Cayenne was a growing family and also my job, which takes me around the countryside doling out agricultural advice. I owned a Porsche Boxster for a while so I knew I'd be happy and in familiar hands with the Cayenne. I'll admit I wasn't entirely convinced by the off-road claims but that's the great benefit of buying used - you gain from the experiences of others. Though some die-hard Porsche lovers have spurned the Cayenne, I'm totally on side. This is a triumph for Porsche in every way.
I'm happy to say the Cayenne is more than capable of dealing with challenging terrain. It's certainly not sluggish either, delivering a 0-62mph speed of 6.7 seconds. There's no compromise on that famous Porsche driving experience at all, for it's every bit as impressive and great fun to drive on any surface.
Interior space is generous and the kids have all the room they need in the back of the Cayenne. It's a pretty big car, over seven feet wide, so there's no feeling of confinement in back or front. The split seats are a great bonus for me day to day, allowing me to stow equipment efficiently and easily. The boot can capacity is a massive 540 litres, so unsurprisingly I've yet to find myself struggling for space, and that's even with all the kids' football and cricket kit, too.
The Used Porsche Cayenne's comfort factor is really good, with leather upholstery throughout. The driving position is excellent, too, offering a very good view of the road ahead. I can be driving for most of the day sometimes, so the supportive seats are much needed.
Porsche's Cayenne has taken the off-road market by storm since its launch, and it's good to know I'm not alone in thinking this is a superb addition to the Porsche range, diversion from character though it may be.

The Ferrari F430 Spider

The Ferrari F430 Spider

What was intended to be a unique revision of the 1999 360 Modena, the Ferrari F430 Spider ended up being a stand alone art form. Another spotless dream child of Pininfarina's, The F430 Spider is a sleek, top of the line in a top of the class, registering one of the best reviewed new cars in the V-8 class of sports cars.
Her sleek yet muscular body frame is more than just teasing to the eyes, it was specifically designed using state of the art, knock your socks off, computer assisted imaging programs that are exclusively used by the F-1 team. Not a single detail of performance handling or speed inclination was overlooked, and the results stand high above the rest.
Starting out with what were supposed to be subtle adjustments in refining what was already considered a refined piece of machinery, the subtle was lost as the F430 took on a personality all her own. Her new high finish stainless tailpipes stare down at the competition as her 483 horses and 343 pounds per foot of torque leave her competition staring at her hindquarters.
What seems like a small 20% increase in the Modena's original 3.6 liters of cubic capacity coupled with the larger displacement rumbling V-8 and the new and improved 4 valve cylinder heads adds up to an additional 91 horses and 67 pounds per foot of torque. For the mathematically challenged like myself that all adds up to a roaring 0-60 in just under 4 seconds and an enhanced top speed of 193 miles per hours. Quite a step 20% can provide.
The Ferrari F430 Spider was ceremoniously unveiled to enthusiasts and critics alike at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, under a cacophony of flash bulbs and of course a sense of breathlessness that matched an undescribed anticipation to get her out on the open highway.
The F430 Spider came with a new and improved wind deflection system, a little reworking provided a functionally revised convertible top, and of course the updated and more-than-ready-to-show-you-what-it's-all-about instrument binnacle shone like a beacon from inside the vehicle. Tiny details created an obvious statement about the newest member of the Pininfarina family, right down to the embossed driver's side view mirror shell telling curious onlookers that of course this is an original F430.
With a sleeker central tunnel and electronic differentials that screamed of creative innovation, everything from the basic lines and eye pleasing corners of the car to the traction and handling improvement aimed for all types of roadway conditions oozed out over the Ferrari F430 Spider's sudden explosion onto the car scene.
Of course, onlookers marveled at the steering wheel mounted well thought out innovative design of the commutator switch allows for quick and easy set up of the car's adjustment features. The body shape underwent extensive testing to produce an all out hard to improve upon design that includes such features as a pronounced molder that is handsomely integrated in the engine cover, which is delicately covered in glass, giving it the appearance of a casing just for the heart of the beast. The larger rear intakes pronounce the vehicle's muscular heart, belying its graceful pose. The rear valance cleverly incorporates a diffuser of high class, state of the art competitive nature. Derived from the best in racing, the 430 Spider is a conglomerate of high tech features that smooth into one easy to handle high test version of Pininfarina's time tested performance cars. Unlike innumerable replacement models and redesign hot shots, the F430 Spider comes to the floor without redundancy.
At 177.6 inches in length and 75.7 inches wide, the F350 spider came with more punch for its size than all of her predecessors. The spoiler that gracefully meets both intakes handsomely and effectively drives the F430 toward the ground as she picks up speed, proving that functionality doesn't have to state anything other than beautiful. The intakes themselves are naturally a continuation of the 1961 dream run in the F-1 Championship. Inspired by tradition yet reflecting a modern era of intensity, the effectiveness of these intense designs is a bit overwhelming in their strength and subtlety.
Just like every generation of Ferrari super creations, the F430 Spider has had every detail of performance, style and function considered, perfected, and reconsidered to produce what only the Ferrari name could produce. This $200,000 dream machine is untouchable by most standards but carries her grace just like the rest of the Ferrari family. Critics recently condemned Ferrari for their classical approach to innovative design, encouraging them to step outside the box. What these critics don't realize is that the classical approach to innovative design is exactly what creates the Ferrari family, and to deviate from it would be blasphemous to the Ferrari principles.
The F430's grace on the eyes translates equally to grace on the road way. With the sleeker and more aerodynamic suspension, the finely tuned body design, and the attention to every possible functional detail, the F340 glides over the roadway with an ease that is reminiscent to gliding on cloud fringed skylines. A driver can feel his own pulse throb through his chest as he cranks her over for the first time, the pulsing of the engine practically begs for attention. Her desire for heat flash speed can outweigh the driver's, and in fact can intimidate those who have never felt the power of high class F-1 rumbles underneath their fingertips.
As is true to the Ferrari legacy and good name, with each new unveiling, there will be cars ahead of the F340 that will create an equal stir. But the F340 will fight to be unforgotten, and in fact will readily turn herself into one of those legendary classics that screamed onto the high performance car scene and refused to stop screaming ever since. She will be a perpetual delight and take her rightful place among the queens of the speedway, her pulsating thrum will echo for generations to lust after, learn from, and envy along the way.

Automatic Transmission with SUV Mahindra Scorpio AT

Automatic Transmission with SUV Mahindra Scorpio AT

There are two big differences between an automatic transmission and a manual transmission.
* There is no clutch pedal in an automatic transmission car.
* There is no gear shift in an automatic transmission car.
No clutch to be depressed and no gears to be switched. Just put the vehicle in Drive mode and you are all set to go. That is an Automatic Transmission car for you. Add this to the SUV Mahindra Scorpio and you get power, space, luxury, character, off-roading, mighty muscular looks and convenience all combined in one.
Here are some reasons why an SUV like Mahindra Scorpio with Automatic Transmission makes a lot of sense for Indian roads.
* The Torque Convertor: torque converter is the main component in fully automatic transmission that provides many unique benefits such as multiplication of the engine torque and reduced shock and strain on the entire driveline. In Manual Transmission there is loss of momentum, power and speed because the clutch separates the engine from the transmission at every gear shift. IN Automatic transmission however, is more efficient because the engine and transmission are always connected.
* Automatic Transmissions incorporate a lock-up clutch which provides a direct mechanical connection from the engine to the transmission. This maximizes fuel economy. Thus Automatic Transmission cars will always provide better fuel economy than Manual Transmission cars.
* A major concern for any driver is the loss of traction on muddy, slippery or slippery terrain. Automatic Transmission cars can be a solution to this concern as it can help maintain control even in the toughest ground conditions. The engine's power gets continually delivered to the wheels without any interruptions for gear shifts and thus the car can pull away gently. This reliable Performance of an Automatic Transmission car is desirable.
* Lower running costs: The absence of the need for new clutches or flywheel regrinds for starters and the reduction of overall abuse on the rest of the driveline as compared to Manual Transmission helps keep the running costs low in Automatic Transmission cars.
M&M has made Scorpio into a car that can suit all segments of buyers. First there was the base M2Di, then the CRDe and mHawk, and now there is the Scorpio AT for those who prefer comfort and ease of driving. In the end, it is the Mahindra Scorpio. It still retains its masculine characteristics of high seating postion, good visibility, a tractable engine, light steering and solid controls and the sporty edge of an ideal SUV.
The real fun of driving the Scorpio AT is in heavy traffic. In the Scorpio AT, the controls work in tandem to make it easy to maneuver the SUV in traffic. The ease of driving takes the front seat. So if you think of immense power and a beast that can take on any kind of terrain and be relaxed in the toughest of traffic at the same time, Scorpio AT fits right in.

Palace on Wheels for Bentley Cars

Palace on Wheels for Bentley Cars

The Bentley brand is to luxury cars what Everest is to mountains. Founded by Walter Owen Bentley, Bentley Motors came into being on 18 January 1919. In August 1919, Bentley Motors Limited was registered. The first Flying B insignia appeared on the 1920 Bentley 3 1/2 Liter test car, which was built near Baker Street in London, and the first production car, another 3 1/2 Liter, was delivered to Bentley's first customer in 1921. Bentley saw its first win at Brooklands in 1921. A privately owned Bentley took 4th place in the first Le Mans in 1923, prompting W.O. Bentley to support a factory team.

Engines grew larger, with a 6 1/2 Liter, a 4 1/2 Liter, a supercharged Speed Six, and an 8 Liter that weighed two and a half tons rolling out of the Cricklewood factory. Walter Owen Bentley's dedication to quality created beautiful cars and this bring in a financial crisis. By 1931, things were no better and Rolls-Royce bought Bentley secretly using a company named the British Central Equitable Trust. Not even Bentley himself knew the true identity of the purchaser until the deal was completed. Hence the original Bentley Motors Limited existed for only twelve years, from 1919 until 1931.

The first Rolls-Royce-produced Bentley, the 3.5-litre, debuted in 1933. The Mk VI of 1946 was the first Bentley to be built using Rolls-Royce components, and the 1952 R-Type Continental was the last Bentley built without a Rolls-Royce equivalent. Bentleys and Rolls-Royces were built side-by-side at the Crewe facility, with a Bentley-badged clone for every Rolls-Royce that rolled off the assembly line. The tide turned for Bentley Motors Limited with the introduction of the 1982 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo, named for the straight at Le Mans.

In 1984, the Bentley Corniche was renamed the Continental, harkening back to the company's roots. The Bentley Continental R, which debuted in 1991, was the first Bentley to have its own dedicated body since 1954. With Bentley outselling Rolls by the early '90s, the companies celebrated 50 years of partnership by using a green background on the Flying B for all 1993 models. Volkswagen bought Rolls-Royce in 1998, including Bentley. BMW then bought the rights to the Rolls-Royce name and announced that Rolls and Bentley would be two separate companies after 67 years.

In 2001, Bentley returned to Le Mans and again dropped out in 2003. The 2006 Bentley Azure became the resurrected Bentley's flagship luxury sedan. Since its introduction at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show, the Bentley Continental lineup has expanded from one very fast sedan to seven even faster sedans and convertibles, including one flex-fuel vehicle. Each has the 6L W12 engine, but the Continental Supersports, as part of Bentleys commitment to reducing its carbon footprint company-wide, can run on either gasoline or bio-fuels. Bentley latest creation is the 2009 Mulsanne sedan.
